Design and strategies for interactive

and mobile promotion

A true "creative" designer sets no bounds; he questions everything, including the design tools he uses. The very flagship products Adobe pioneered to enable design of UIs, will benefit from a fresh UI redesign itself. User experience is enhanced when navigation is at optimum intuitiveness; when speed/greater ease of use are introduced; and when hand and eye fatigue is reduced. Productivity is thereby increased.

Currently, when using Adobe products, a designer is constantly navigating his mouse from the art, to the top-screen menu, to the toolbar, to floating menus, and back to the art. This produces acute eye and hand fatigue. Consolidating menus and localizing them to the cursor's current location eliminates or greatly reduces such unnecessary physical activity.

In the following screens, I innovate Photoshop navigation that addresses these concerns. I eliminated the horizontal top-screen menu, and I have localized all menus/panes to the cursor, harnessing familiar gestures: click, hover, drag, right click.

TRAX: Branding and GUI design for

Project: Develop name, font selection, complete GUI, icon set, and branding for a new music player including desktop and mobile versions. "TRAX" was developed in one week, including all screen transitions and user interaction.
