VoicePass™ History

1996 - Graphco began development of a voice biometric security system, initially to complement the ExpertNet™ products released to the market.

1998 - Graphco started testing the first generation VoicePass™ technology on Smart Cards and through telephone lines. The developments that resulted allowed Graphco to conclude marketing agreements with De La Rue Card Systems, Intercard Karten Systems DmbH and American Card Technologies.

1999 - Graphco ported the VoicePass™ technology to Windows platforms and began the implementation of VoicePass™ code to PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) for use on the Internet.

NOTE: Combining the VoicePass™ verification capabilities at PC levels and using industry-standard encryption technology (PKI and Digital Certificates) for network communications, Graphco envisions the capability of identifying any user by his or her voice pattern locally without having to send any voice files through a communication line. This capability increases accuracy by eliminating the line noise and reducing unauthorized entry to data transmitted through communication lines.

1999 - Graphco began development of the VPAT (Voice Pass Access Terminal), capable of delivering high power processing and interface capabilities at a reduced cost at any point of use (merchants, time & attendance, entry, etc.). VPAT eliminates the need for high price infrastructure implementation, and is compatible with existing legacy systems.

2000 - Graphco started the implementation of VoicePass™ PC security and PKI security into the E-Commerce engine developed by Advanced Logic Systems.

NOTE: The VoicePass™ biometric security, combined with digital certificates (PKI tools), ported to an E-Commerce engine (AskAlbert.com) and secured by The DoD standard secure law enforcement database, will allow Graphco to provide a complete solution for biometric-secured Internet transactions with biometric entry to secure credit cards databases. This powerful combination of technologies reduces the concern of persons making purchases through the Internet and for unauthorized database entry. With the purchase of ian nternational law enforcement database, Graphco also acquires facial recognition biometric technology. Facial recognition biometrics allow us to identify users by face matrix/nodal points and to match them against the database. This technology combined with voice pattern identification technology for secure access will allow Graphco to release fusion algorithms as required by DARPA for government applications.
