Engineering & Scientific
Ph.D. Elect. Eng. required with 5
yrs exp. in digital image processing, sensor evaluation, enhancement,
feature extraction and analysis, pattern recognition and optimization.
Exp. in algorithm dev., geometry normalization, image skeletonization,
skeleton processing, noise removal, pattern comparison tech.,dynamic
prgmg and stat. processing of digital images. Extensive exp.
with Bayesian Probabilistic Inference, Fuzzy Systems, Combinatorial
Optimization, Genetic Algorithms, Simulated Annealing, Constraints
Satisfaction, and Statistical Decision Theory. Ability to convert
scientific solution formulations into computer programs written
in C/C++ and Java. Some supervisory or project team leadership
exp. required.
Senior Software
Engineer
Ph.D. Electronics, Elect. Eng., Comp. Sc. required
with 5 yrs exp. in digital speech processing, including production,
perception and acoustic-phonetic characterization, time/frequency
domain analysis, linear prediction, cepstral analysis and coding,
pattern comparison techniques and dynamic prgmg. Extensive exp.
with voice recognition algorithm dev. using with Vector Quantization
algorithms & Hidden Markov Models. Familiar with cepstral
mean normalization and cohort normalization techniques.
